Installing Ascendara

System Requirements#

  • Windows 10 or 11
  • Chrome/Chromium-based browser or Firefox
  • Stable internet connection
  • Sufficient storage space

Download#

  1. Visit ascendara.app
  2. Click the download button
  3. Run the installer
  4. Follow the setup wizard

About the Installer#

The Ascendara installer is a lightweight download (under 35MB) with a clean, modern interface. Once launched, it fetches the latest full setup package and walks you through each step. If you need a specific version, you can grab it from the GitHub releases page.

SmartScreen Warning#

Windows Defender SmartScreen may flag the installer since Ascendara is open-source and doesn't use a paid code signing certificate. You can safely proceed by clicking "More info" → "Run anyway".

Browser Extension#

The Ascendara Download Handler is a crucial part of Ascendara that simplifies the download process:

  2. Configure your game directory in Ascendara settings
  3. Set up your preferences for downloads and game management
  4. (Optional) Install recommended game dependencies
