System Center, Game Profiles and Smart Collections
A big structural update: a new System Center for health, storage and recovery, per-game profiles, smart collections for your library, and settings recovery points you can roll back to.
10.8.3 was one of the largest community driven releases so far, and it added three genuinely new surfaces to the app.
System Center
System Center collects health, storage and recovery tools in one place. Instead of hunting through settings when something looks wrong, you get a single view of what Ascendara thinks the state of your install is, how your storage is being used, and what recovery options exist.
That includes settings recovery points: Ascendara can snapshot your configuration and roll it back on Windows if a change breaks something.
Game Profiles
Game Profiles let you configure games individually rather than globally. Per-game launch commands, backup behaviour, save paths and UMU overrides all live on the game itself, which makes the awkward titles much easier to keep working.
Smart Collections
Smart Collections group your library automatically by status and type, so a large library stops being one long grid. The command palette was expanded in the same release with more actions, full keyboard navigation and translated labels.
