Big Picture mode
Ascendara grew a couch interface: full controller and keyboard navigation, download management, achievements and game management, all designed for a TV.
Big Picture mode started as a community concept in 9.8.7 and became a complete interface in 9.9.7. It is Ascendara designed for a television and a controller, with everything you would otherwise need a mouse for.
Built for a controller
Controller and keyboard navigation cover the whole interface, with on-screen bind hints, held button handling so a single press does not retrigger, and a gamepad-navigable file browser for picking executables without leaving the couch.
Everything, not a subset
Big Picture handles complete download management, including TorBox downloads, game management, search with hover details, and a dedicated achievement screen that matches the rest of the design.
